I was on the phone with a friend last night, she lives in Burbank, born and raised, and we were reminiscing about old times given the fact I will be seeing her a lot FOR A WHILE STARTING next month...and one of our favorite short retarded-scary-but-true stories had to do with the time she and I were eating outside the Fat Burger in the Burbank Shopping District near Media Center on San Fernando one Saturday Evening, and we were approached by a couple Speed Freaks who wanted change to buy some "candy bars"....This was way the fuck back in 1999, but the woman who approached us and did all the talking on behalf of the two tweakers LOOKED eerily similar to the chick with the BMC-style Belly Button Tatoo and the looks of pure, lifeless evil.... 
I didnt give her any money because I distinctly recall only having a $20 as my smallest note.... so while I kept the "meethers" pre-occupied with shallow tales of my own glory-filled drug debauchery chronicles, my friend went 2 doors down to a little newsstand and bought every fucking snicker's Bar and Bag of M&Ms they had...later on, my Friend's Husband (back then he was apatrolman for the Burbank PD) said we did the right thing cuz if you dont give tweakers SOMETHING, and they remember that you DIDN'T give them something, you can be the object of a meth-fueled diatribe
