Fayner didn't quote the whole story. Kara was scheduled to shoot a B/G scene with Ryan Knox later that day and she just found out about it, hence the suicide attempt.

Yes. I did try to commit suicide.
I was addicted to xanex. Took four one night.. In the morning, I did not have any and I became very depressed.
I was in rehab for 6 days. I was not in Vegas. I did not have any scenes scheduled. I had an infection and could not work anyways.
I'm out of rehab, off xanex, and happy again.

Ya know, ages ago, a idiotic psychotherapist prescribed me Paxil for some stupid reason and taking the smallest dosage of 5mg made me feel like hell. I dont see how that shit could hav been slightly addictive. In fact it made me not wanna take it at all. I even tried just taking half of the damn pill and made no difference so that didn't last too long. I could have made money of the prescription huh? FOr all those people out there who like to make their pills into powder LOL, DAMN... if I had only known back then.
Glad you're not addicted anymore Kara. If you're gonna slit anything, slit an enemy, not your own hehehehehe j/k

paxil's an ssri, it's not addictive. this chick was on benzos=mentally and physically addictive. unfortunatley, they're the easiest thing to pass off on patients and say to yourself "no problem". they're also the things that come back to haunt those with dea #'s when their patients get hooked. someone's gonna have hell to pay for this.

When I had my little weird happening a month or so ago and went to Urgent Care, told I had E.Coli of the bladder, they also prescribed me Xanax. I never had that damn thing filled. Until my Step Father found great value in the idea that I had a prescription never filled. I was like.... what the hell why did he jump out of his chair like a five year old with candy!!! I should have sold that shit to him too HAHAHAHA

How did she get addicted so fast? Xanax totally knocks you out and makes you sleep. Unless she had XanaxXR (extended release). Those are great.

Actually, it doesn't necessarily knock you out. I mean I have been prescribed it and have never felt knocked out. Anyhow, it is rather easy to become addicted to since it acts at the same receptor that alcohol does. It relaxes you in a similar way. You also can gain quite a tolerance toward it.
