This makes no sense. You have a lot more to worry about than Child Protection Services if you're wanted for child molesting.
More plausible is that Skeeter has some other reason to be worried that CPS wants to take away his kids. Maybe he shoots when his kids are at home? I assume CPS gives lots of people in porn problems.

The law explicitly states that the first offense under 311.4(a) is a misdemeanor. The maximum sentence allowed under that subsection is not terribly severe. What people are missing is that he was charged under 311.4(c): basically, knowingly photographing an underage (but probably older than 14 year old) minor for a non-commercial purpose. In other words, probably for "private" use. I suspect he was charged under 311.4(c) (a felony) but pled to another sub-section (a misdemeanor), but that's only speculation.
Sexual penetration against victim's will by force was charged in conjunction with the above. It's an assumption, but not a rash one, that the two charges had the same victim. That was a felony. So it's not like he was never convicted of a felony, and he was actually charged with two.
Given all that, and Kerkove's future rap sheet, I can put together a scenario in my head. I have no way of knowing if it's right or wrong. It's pure speculation, unless someone wants to go get me the trial transcripts. But remember when you were in high school, and the hot chick that you wanted was being picked up by some greasy, 22 year old dude on his motorcycle after class every day? What the fuck was wrong with that guy, scouting high schools for babes?
Well, I can imagine Kerkove being that guy, with a "very mature" 16 year old. I can imagine her parents (or maybe even her) engineering a bad break-up, complete with polaroids of their forbidden passion in his mom's basement. Maybe he broke in his chopstick technique with her. That is about the most "innocent" and benign explanation I can come up with. And it's pure speculation, as I said.

Possibly. He was charged under a subsection which is a felony, but I only see (and this is reading from Luke's site, which doesn't provide much context), if the line underneath are his convictions, 311.4--with no subsection. Was one there? Because 311.4(a) is in fact a misdemeanor for a first offense. 311.4(c), which he was charged under, is not.

Possibly. But from what Luke writes (and some anon posters have hinted), Skeeter no longer lived at "home" with Brigitte prior to this happening.
I find it strange that everyone jumped to the suspicion (James, of course, was needling) that he's "on the run." Luke could answer this with a simple phone call to the LAPD. He could not so much be on the run as much as (a.) separated from his wife; (b.) facing financial ruin; and (c.) having his income taken away.
As for a condition of parole to stay away from porn, it's doubtful. His real last name is Kerkove. His Meagan's Law page indicates that "Skeeter" is a known alias. If he was trying to hide, Christ he was doing a horrible job of it.
What I find funny is that people have tap-danced around his (estranged, it seems) wife. Some of the most irrationally malicious, hateful people I've never met are "former" (and the former can mean a manner of hours, or minutes) lovers. Who's to say she didn't decide to finish off his reputation? Who's to say this wasn't meant to deprive him of income in addition to the fact that he'll never obtain custody of his children outside of, probably, supervised visitation? There's been practically no speculation at all as to who fed xxxporntalk this information (I don't know if it was posted anywhere else as well).
The one problem with this theory is that it's not very smart, since there was no big hoopla about their break-up and most assumed they were still cohabitating the same domicile. But pissed off spouses aren't the most logical creatures; pissed off porn spouses, probably even less so. But if she's angry enough to have done this, it follows that she'll eventually out herself. I have no clue how many enemies he had outside of Monkey.

he's a pretty easy extortion target in some ways, and there's people who specialize in it lurking around the shadows of the industry. we've got no idea if he cut a deal in the drug stuff, someone may have found out or they're out of jail and he's dead if they find him. he's got enough tats you'd assume the drug charges are meth and there's some heavy weaponry in circles with skeeter-clones.
