According to a source close to E2K, the reason law enforcement busted the internet prostitution empire was that its principle, Egyptian Rady Abdel Salem Abbassy aka Alec, was funneling the proceeds to Islamic terrorist organizations.

I should have been more clear- In this context "they" is the man, policia, the G-Men. The other agencies will be cooperating with police to keep from going down. They'll collect the escorts and johns as they come straggling in.

Possibly. But any cash economy has loads of parasites--not even necessarily L* C*sa N*stra--clinging to the the underside. They used to call it "street tax."
