I just spoke to the Coroner's Office in Monterey County, CA.
Maryam I. Haley died on 8/22/07. The investigation is ongoing. I was told that this is NOT an overdose death.

This sucks, there was something about this girl I always liked.
I can't say I found her to be that hot (as compared to other "Top talent") or her scenes to be all that great.
But as I said, there was just something about her that I automatically liked.
I always knew there were alot of drugs in Porn but I was shocked to find out it was Heroin. I can't see anyone being stupid enough to fuck with that stuff, the needles... fuck that.
Is Heroin popular in the Porn community? I wouldn't think so because of the increase HIV risk but what the fuck do I know

I have seen only a few of Haley’s scenes, but there was a natural warmth and beauty that seemed to shine through no matter what degrading act she was performing. I wish Haley some measure of peace for her short and troubled life and my best wishes go out to her family, as well.
